1. How to Create a BCH Wallet?

For New imToken Users:

When downloading imToken for the first time, create an Identity Wallet. During setup, select BCH (alongside other supported blockchains). Once created, your BCH wallet is ready for use.

For Existing Users Without BCH:

Follow these steps to add a BCH wallet to your identity:

  1. Navigate to Me > Wallet Management.
  2. Tap Manage > Add Currency, then select BCH.
  3. Confirm by entering your identity wallet password.

For Additional BCH Wallets:

Create standalone BCH wallets via:

  1. Me > Wallet Management > Add Wallet > BCH > Create Wallet.
  2. Set a name, transaction password (optional hint), and securely store the generated recovery phrase.

2. How to Import a BCH Wallet?

Import an existing BCH wallet using a recovery phrase or private key:

  1. Go to Me > Wallet Management > Add Wallet > BCH.
  2. Enter the recovery phrase (space-separated words) or private key (no spaces).
  3. Set a password to complete.

Note: Avoid importing wallets from other apps—creating a new wallet in imToken is safer.


3. Exporting BCH Wallet Credentials

4. BCH Wallet Transaction FAQs

Address Formats:

  1. Cash Address (Recommended): Format: bitcoincash:qq... (case-insensitive).

  3. BitPay Address: Deprecated.
